Laura Recommends: Ariana Grande - No Tears Left To Cry

Published on

Today is a huge day as Ariana Grande makes her massive return to the music industry almost one year after the atrocious attack at her Manchester concert on May 22nd last year which claimed 22 innocent, beautiful lives and injured hundreds more.

Her brand new single 'No Tears Left To Cry' is an up-tempo pop ballad that starts off as as Gospel inspired track before moving into the catchy chorus, but the moving lyrics allude to the hateful attack last year with resilient lyrics including "So I'm loving, I'm living, I'm picking it up."

And Grande resolves to overcome hate and fear, singing; "We're way too fly to partake in all this hate, we out here vibin'."

It is a fantastic track and the messages within the lyrics only add to the draw and Ariana's distinctive vocals are absolutely breathtaking. Fans from all over the world are going to playing 'No Tears Left To Cry' on a loop and it's a great introduction to her new era.

The music video also sees a worker bee - the symbol of Manchester - fly towards the camera, in a touching homage to the city.

It's a brave and bold move for the singer to open up about the tragic event that occurred at her show last year, but the fact she is being open about how it affected her is testament to her strength.

'No Tears Left To Cry' is a pure anthem, and it's great to have Ariana Grande back. So if you're looking for new music to listen to this week make sure you check out this track, you won't regret it.
