Laura Recommends: Andy Brown -About Last Night

I was absolutely gutted when it was announced that Andy Brown's debut solo album 'Cedarmont' would not longer be getting released in July through Decca Records. But I am so glad Andy did not let this major setback stop him from creating music he truly loves as his talent is massive. 

He is one of the most exciting names in the UK Country scene at the moment and with the right songs and some clever marketing he could well go on to become a household name across the globe. 

He has everything in his arsenal needed to succeed so it still seems strange that his relationship with Decca has broken down, and with his new single 'About Last Night' he has shown the label just what they are missing. 

It is a huge rock infused country hit that has sensational guitar riffs, catchy lyrics and hooks plus an infectious chorus. This truly seems like Andy Brown has found his style and the rock infusion suits his gravely vocal tone so well. 

It's a real standout from the Liverpudlian, and it hopefully means that we will soon be getting that much anticipated solo album. Andy's voice deserves to be heard on the biggest stage and I'm sure it won't be long until he is snapped up by another major label. Especially if he keeps releasing tracks of the quality level of 'About Last Night' which is a stellar release.
