Laura Recommends: Union J - Alive

Union J are back after four long years and their new sound is absolutely brilliant. Now a three piece consisting of JJ Hamblett, Josh Cuthbert and Jaymi Hensley their harmonies are super tight and the vibrant pop sound of their infectious new single 'Alive' is a welcome addition to the current charts. 

'Alive' has been a long time coming and it feels like a re-awaking for the boys who have had several knock backs over the years what with being dropped from their label, George Shelley leaving, new member Casey Johnson leaving one year later and new music that never got released.  

But now, they are stronger than ever and are signed to a new label. This is a new chapter and the boys are sounding note perfect on their brand new release which is a slice of pop heaven. The three-part harmonies and falsetto combined with the catchy chorus means it has the potential to become a huge chart hit.  

It's so fantastic to have Union J back and it's brilliant to hear that their new single has been well worth the four year wait.
