Laura Recommends: Ward Thomas - I Believe In You'

Yes!!! I am so happy that Ward Thomas have decided to release 'I Believe In You' as the next official single off their eagerly anticipated third studio album 'Restless Minds' which is dropping on October 5th, and is shaping up to be the album of the year.  

I have been totally in love with this track since hearing it live in Cardiff last year during their last tour, and again in Guildford. It's a massive folk infused hit that live has this special connection with the audience who get to take part in the "you're on your way, yeah you're" part which is always a super fun moment.  

It also shows their musical growth as it's a massive hit that wouldn't be out of place on a Taylor Swift or Shania Twain record. It's one of my all time favourite songs from Ward Thomas and I am so happy to finally be able to download it.

It has a different vibe to the pop inspired 'Lie Like Me' which is another song that I have had on a loop since its release last month. With 'I Believe In You' the rootsy feel really suits the girls' harmonies and the lyrics mean so much to so many people. It's a really inspirational track that has the bonus of being a sing-a-long anthem. And that guitar solo at the beginning is just divine. 

So if you're looking for some brilliant new music to listen to this week, look no further than Ward Thomas' feel-good new single 'I Believe In You'. You will not be disappointed.
