Laura Recommends: Ward Thomas - No Filter

Having been to see Ward Thomas live this year I have been lucky enough to hear a number of tracks off their upcoming third studio album 'Restless Minds' before they were officially mastered and released. 

And on the songs that has become a long-time favourite is the insanely wonderful 'No Filter'. The lyrics are absolutely outstanding and touch on how we shouldn't try to be somebody else in order to please another person or to fit in

I have adored this song for a while now and I am so happy that it is finally out in the world. Speaking about the message of the track via Twitter, Catherine and Lizzy said: "This is a song we have been especially excited to share with you all as it’s a special one for us. We wrote it about standing up for what you believe and learning to be unapologetically YOU! We hope you like it!"  

I just love the messages the girls are delivering via their new music as it is inspiring and empowering and also highlights their wonderful songwriting ability. 'No Filter' is a real standout from Ward Thomas and once again shows another side to 'Restless Minds' which is shaping up to be one of the most powerful records of our generation. 

The vocal harmonies are tighter than ever and that high note Lizzy hits is on another level. Overall this is one of the best releases of the year!
