Laura Recommends: Sarah Darling - Diamonds

Today, the absolutely brilliant Sarah Darling releases her brand new single; 'Diamonds' and I couldn't be happier that it is finally available for download. Ever since I heard the breathtaking, inspirational ballad back in December in Guildford and then again in March in Bristol I have been totally hooked by the message of the track.  

The lyrics are all about reminding the listener that everyone has struggles and everybody has to overcome hurdles in order to achieve their dreams. This track like 'Wasted' has struck a very personal chord with me. 

Being a music journalist I am often looking for "my big break" and looking for full time paid work can sometimes feel like one step forward and about five backwards but 'Diamonds' reminds me that everything happens for a reason and nothing ever comes easy. 

It's a really beautiful song and Sarah has helped me and my career no end by agreeing to a number of interviews with me and I am forever grateful to her for that. She is a very bright light in the industry and with the release of 'Diamonds' she is ready to takeover the mainstream airwaves and charts. 

It has stellar country style lyrics, and a stunning piano introduction that just elevates the whole song a wonderful new level. Sarah is a true talent and this new single showcases her divine ability to create truly timeless hits.
